Information about this Class Action

This action was brought against the Province of British Columbia and the British Columbia College of Teachers (the “College“) on behalf of former employees of the College who had their employment terminated without cause in or around January 2012 by the dissolution of the College.

Current Status

The plaintiff, Monica Winter, has commenced legal action by filing a Notice of Civil Claim in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The defendants, the Province of British Columbia and the College, have filed their Response to Civil Claim. The action has not yet been certified as a class action.
